First things first:

So, yesterday, as the title suggests, Nyanko-chan and I pulled a 2007, and did Freddy Krueger movies with tons of candy! And 3D. IN 3D THIS TIME! 8D
We just hung around the living room, me bitching about my voice that still refuses to return completely. And talked. Maybe not as much as I feel we should've, but some. I think, or at least hope, that both of us are feeling a little lighter now.
So yeah, we did Nightmare 6 and 7, and in between, popped down to the store to get candy, donuts, creambuns and snacks fufu~ Screw candy-ban weeksdays! 8D It's not often we do these things anymore after all, so I thought it was okay.
Honeycakes came home, and we tried for an hour or so to fix that damned LAN connection so we can play Diablo II together, but no >_< Instead, Yacchan crashed, and I lost precious website work in photoshop. *dies*

Then there was the disaster that came later in the evening, making my voice first return, then go back to screeching:
espen_kun labelled himself my #1 fanboy (xD) when we got to know each other, before he even knew much about SNOW, and I'd promised him the first copy. So that was what I sent at the postoffice on Monday. He received it yesterday, and started reading. Nervous as hell, I wait for some sort of feedback already x'3
And then he calls: "Do you have a copy of SNOW nearby?"
"...yes? ....omg, don't tell me there's a mistake?!"
"...I think there is..."
*dies a little on the inside*
So yeah, not only is there a mistake... There is a HUGE TYPO. On the FIRST PAGE.
It says "rea5ch". "REA5CH"!!
This idiotic typo must've appeared when I saved the document the last time before uploading the final-read copy. Ironic isn't it?
I'd been good at ignoring the first page before, and finding a couple of nasties on there thanks to that, so I'd told myself to pay special attention to the first few pages. And then THIS happens?! D<
Of course, this flaw is present in ALL 70 copies I have ordered. And of course there is no turning back now.
People around me tells me not to worry, and that it'll just increase the value of the first press editions in a few years. Which I guess could be true. But still, I want it to look pro and make a good impression! A big typo on the first page is no good first impression!! orz

However, I trust my readers will look away from this, and like it regardless.
Espen is having all the reactions I've wanted so far at least. So I guess it's good still..? x'3
Baaah. I get so neurotic about this.
Now I just hope that the final batch gets here today, so I can deliver them to Outland!


Other than that, I plan to watch Gackt today. As is my excuse for You-chan's birthday~ n_n

It's been a while since I've done any reviews for Japanda, but since their sites haven't been updated in months, and I have no idea what's happening with the club...I don't think it matters.
Though, I've been reading lots of manga lately sadly none of the ones on the actual reviewlist, so I decided to throw some reviews up here for the heck of it, although I'm way behind the world...

Today was sis' birthday. She's 14 now. Omg. And so, she bleached her hair. Ofc. x'3
The family gathered, and Honeycakes and I joined them after a nice Tiller Grill dinner accompanied by Basil of Baker Street on the projector.
As soon as we came in there, I was asked all kinds of questions about the book and publishing and when they could get one x'D So I wonder... did dad show them all his copy before I came in, or was it just reandomly placed in the living room already? o_o
But it was fun. We sat around talking, and Jannicke was talking about how I should get in touch with the papers and NRK and get lots of attention so they can ship me off to Japan for promotion. Uh...not happening. And scary scary thought. But it's not gonna happen. Ofc not. I'm happy as long as I sell the 50 copies outland is getting. OF course, I wouldn't mind being interviewed by the local paper and shedding a bit of light on the release.
The two hours we spent with my family also consisted of talking about old times with my cousin, congratulating my aunt on being a Grandma for the second time (my cousin got his second son the other day. Yay~) and eating of cake and things.

Then Joachim came over, we hijacked some cake and went downstairs to play super Mario bros wii. Three player games ftw1 XD It's TOTAL CHAOS.
AND GOD I SUCK.
But it was hilarious. Though, I wish I'd had my voice <.< And towards the end, I was getting tired, so I lost my enthusiasm. But it was fun. I also sat around with no pants on, because my pants are murder weapons. Lawl.
I also had a random fit of rage because of some news I got, and gah. People are so stupid sometimes. Including me, who had to bring it up and sit around ranting. >_< Idiot.

I'm still feeling completely flattened, so I doubt I'll drag myself to the postoffice first thing in the morning, but I need to send out some things. Lawl. I wrote Elliot's letter like three weeks ago >_> So even though I won't be able to pick up any mail, in case the last box of books gets here, I'll have to go there. Ghei. I should go to bed.
Honeycakes already turned in almost an hour ago. hmmm.
My throat hurts. @_@
I was going to say something more, but I forgot it. ^^;;

Okay, more of a ficlet than a drabble...but whatever. I did this yesterday in a fit of "OMG NEED MAAYA/ARISU/ACCHAN FRIENDSHIP". Not that anyone reads this stuff anyway, but with the release of SNOW closing in and the possibility of going to Outland tomorrow to hand them their copies, I felt like writing something.

The only positive thing about being sick right now is that having no apetite and no way to get to the store, I eat a lot less and thus I don't spend what little money I have this month of poverty as fast as expected.

On the other hand, this sucks.
I've been going nuts today because I'm well enough to be pissed off, but too sick to speak or read/play games/write for long periods of time. The computer screen and I are not friends atm, or I'd catch up on fanfics <.<
I was supposed to go to Outland today to talk to Kim about the invoice, the release and Outland Oslo + Aicon, but clearly I could just forget about that as I can't talk <.<

espen_kun called me though x3 I didn't think, so I picked up the phone. Lawl xD
I'm sure I sounded horrible.
Also, I totally forgot that manicake is awesome and got me LM.C's Super Glitter Loud box, so I'm happily looking at it's prettiness x'3

...but I'm DYING here. I'm BORED. I feel WEAK. And ggaaaaah D

So, I've been too dead to journal.
This weekend was pretty awesome. On Saturday, aside from going to my uncle's to get the invoice for Outland ready, the day was spent with the lovely X men.
Honeycakes and I started on Friday night with season one of X-men evolution, which was continued in the morning, and exploded into an X-menthon on Saturday night: X-men, X2, X-men III: the last stand, and X-men Origins: Wolverine.

What did this gain?

Then on Sunday, we finally managed to install Diablo II! ♥
I haven't played this game in years, but my old assassin skills haven't rusted at all it seems. Omg, it's so much fun! :D We pretty much spent all Sunday playing and trying to fix the multiplayer function. Which failed. Ghei.
But it's still fuuuuun~
We also watched Kill Bill. I still heavily dislike them <.<

And now I'm sick. Again.
This time we're guesstimating a throat-infection. Yay -_-;; I hate my body. FUUUU.
Of course, if I can escape the stomach-flu, then I won't complain.

Finally, today was full of good news: Monica has decided to join SNOWcrew as Atsushi, so yay! We are now complete! :D Maaya, Aki, Arisu and Atsushi will be taking Outland on May 3rd~♥


And, I've decided to share a ficlet I wrote before Christmas. I made it as a traditional drabble-thing for espen_kun, so naturally I couldn't post it until I'd sent it to him, but now that it has been received and loved, I post it here. Let's just ignore that it's somewhat spoilerish for Jaded, shall we? x'3

Today's the end of the week from hell. Mom's working, so I don't get to go to the city until Monday. I BEAT YOU PSYCHO WEEK. Though, I've had so much fun this week with everyone. But I'm tired.

Today is also one of Sana's idiot days. Not quite as bad as a few weeks back when he came home at one in the morning, with a bite wound straight through his ear, and two days later I picked a claw out of his head >_> Jeez. But, he's stupid enough today to be driving me insane by diving into an empty bag of catfood in the hallway, making lots of noise, and driving me insane. ^^;;

Anyway, yesterday, Monica came over for the final of our Harry Potter moviethon, and we ended up having pasta with garlicbaguettes, while watching Harry Potter 6. Then we moved on with the llama movie, and finally squeezed in Kamikaze girls. Oh Anna~! XDD "JUSCO!"
In between all the movies, we naturally found time for gossip, lulz and the mandatory discussion of whether or not it's okay to like Bellatrix XD

There was also disturbing talks about people with no social skills, and bloody penises. Omg xD


Monica of course drooled over the copies of SNOW. And after she left (dude, the convos you have with your mom... XD) I checked out one of them and found A BLANK PAGE in the middle of the novel. Bad enough there's no blank page between the expressions-list and the last page, but this? Dx In all 70 copies, so I can't fix it either. It's just a minor flaw, of the kind that might make the copies worth a fortune if I ever get famous XDD
myeah. So I freaked out over that, and we folded clothes, before going to bed around one thirty, not actually falling asleep until after two thirty ^^;;

Now I'm waiting for Heather to log on so we can have cake, while watching Mysterious Skin. it's the kind of movie I shouldn't watch, because it's so...disturbing and sick. But at the same time, I'm always intrigued by these things.

So, I was just as pissed as Gackt was in his blog when I heard that the tabloids were diggign into RRII being postponed. And I was thinking that WHY are they hyping this up now? The release is on Wednesday.
Well, I literally just found out that no. It has been postponed again. March 31st.

Now, I still agree with Gackt. It's not his fault. Stop pestering him damnit!
But for ME. As a fan? NOOOOOOOOO. I was SO HYPED yesterday. Just ask Nyanko-chan and Honeycakes. x'3

And WHY is D so expensive?! On top of that I know that there is another release that I have forgotten about. Urgh.

Also, I got the first 20 copies of SNOW today! :D I hope the rest come tomorrow, or at least another batch. I need to go see Outland on Friday, but I can't deliver the books before I've got them all and the invoice... so yeah. But I'm excited. things are happening x3

So yesterday, after the mandatory dying over PBX, Ingunn and Leon came over, so he could have his birthday present, which at least was well accepted by "mum" XD Leon was more preoccupied with other stuff; chasing Sanza in under the couch, stuffing things in the VCR, breaking bottles against the floor... ^^;; But it was fun; chatting and getting threatened because Jaded isn't done XD And Leon feeding Sasori crispbreads XD And being cute. Yes, I'm actually charmed enough by this kid to call him cute x'3 It's odd.
She left, and we watched some Anna while waiting for Monica to arrive. She did, Honeycakes went home to do some sewing, and left teh cell behind. As teh genious I am, I thought it would be wise to send a text and go "hey, your phone's here," but uh... no xD

So the evening was spent with Harry Potter 4 and 5, without really watching as always; chatting and catching up on various things. As always during these girl nights there's alot of in-depth concos and "confessions", so privacy discretion is avised. Lawl.
Honeycakes returned as we sat down to watch the 5th HP, and at this point I was dying. Because Monica and I shall make a porn movie called "Otherwises we have the good", where she shall wear heels. Our porn names are decided. And the sequel will be called "I AM GONNA SLAM THAT ASS!!" XD
Omg I diiied. I have to make sure that everyone realizes that at this point, I was overly hyped on caffeine (dark dog and cola lawl), sugar and Gackt, so obviously things got a bit hysterical over time. Things like "Rita Skeeter" and various "coming on" refrences didn't help. On top of that, Monica spent half the evening trying to force/coax/beg out of me who Honeycakes is "dating". In the end, after being really mean and laughing at her failure, we let her know. We're nice XD

Last night was really fun. And very nice in many ways too~ I am all for the lulz, but honestly, it's good to have serious, deep conversations once in a while too.
And we had tons of that half of the night as well, though we probably should've gone to sleep, really. But there were just things that had to be said. x'3

Now today is shrink appointment, tomorrow might be shopping for hide-cosplay stuff, and then on Friday I have my doctor's appointment. Must.Remeber.To.Ask.About.Cough.

Otherwise we have the good, and I will start reading Abandoned Prayers by Gregg Olsen. ^^

In other news, things are coming together: I need to apply for reduced delivery to the NB, which saves me alot of money.
I just received a call that cleared up the issue with Espen's lost present: it was returned to sender, but they're shipping it back to me again now, so I'll have it by Monday! :D
And the new website is in the making. I just need to figure out the whole html issue on the new domain, and we should be set.
Gah, things are working out nicely. What a pleasant surprise! Of course, I think I deserve this much after coughing my lungs out for the past three months >_<

...it didn't arrive. WHYYY? It was supposed to be delivered today.
Tomorrow (unless I keep feeling as bad as I do right now), Monica's coming over, which means I'll have to wait until Wednesday to see it if I get it tomorrow. FUU POSTALSYSTEM ._.

Waah, I have so much to post about, so little time, and I'm not getting notifications - again. >_<

Here's what's been happening:

*I've been lurking at the Jrock Hate meme which has just been full of lameness and not half as funny anymore.
* I've been feeling pretty bad because of the pills and since I've been busy playing Mario Bros Wii, I haven't journaled at all XD
*Onii-chan's moved away ._. Well, that happened almost two weeks ago really, but it's sad.
* Leon was one year old on Monday, and luckily, Lee will be okay. Marco's birthday was also on the 11th, so I tried to call and congratulate him, but was ignored <.<

*yesterday, I'm on skype with Boo, and as always, there were creepy sounds, like buzzing and rumbling but get this; just as I answer her call I hear this really creepy "grudge-lady" sound and rumble, and A VOICE WHISPERING "Help me.." in broken English!!! DD:
I'm horrified. I've always been worried that this thing is a Yu-Rei, but WHAAT? D:

More important stuff:
*I GOT MY ITIN. Which is odd because I was on my way to apply again since I got a rejection letter in December, what? But hey, I'm fine with that.
* I received the final proof of SNOW today, so the Norwegian release isn't far away. Will be ordering up the copies for OUtland tomorrow or Friday.
*Then I had a nervous breakdown, because I did some adding up and I found that the online sales will earn me close to no profit, even if the price will be kinda steep. I don't want to go higher than $25, because the shipping is awful as well, but I earn so little from it that I can't go much lower either. As for the Norwegian one, I only pay $7 per copy myself, but the shipping fees are insane. For 70 copies (50 for outland, 7 for the National Library and the rest for sales directly from me), I'll have to pay $500 dollars!! o_o IN SHIPPING.
So yeah, I broke down alittle. I have no real means to afford this, and I don't want to rely on my family >_<
* That aside, I went to Outland today and talked things over with Kim. The novel will be sold for 329;- NOK. Which I thought was expensive, but with all the expences, I have to, and I still only earn about 16;- NOK from one copy if you take away what I already spent on them >_<
Nevertheless, if I sell 50 copies I've earned something like 11k, which isn't bad :3
* Kim is working on promoting SNOW as hard as he can, and SNOWcrew will be appearing at FCBD, as a way of promoting it as well. Apparently, people have been asking for it and acted very eager, so I'm excited - and frightened xD

You guessed it, another animal rant, coming up.
What is WRONG with this country? And Sweden too for that matter.
Lat week, I was overjoyed with the news that we were getting a new animal cruelty law, that said that it's mandatory to notify the police of animal abuse and cruelty, and they finally reinstated the law against sex with animals. Personally, I never get why they removed that one in the first place,
Of course, the fact that they will now be stricter on animal abuse doesn't change the fact that we have furfarms. Oh no. The minister who was recently instated to handle these matters says that it's up to the industry to follow the new rules and make conditions as good as they can be.
How about banning the so-called industry? This is just hypocritical bs. Gawd.

But that wasn't what I was talking about. As I said, I was sitting here, pleased that Norway is getting these new clausules in the law, and BAM the next day, what is in the paper?
Sweden has launched their first wolf hunt in 45 years. WTF.
I realize that perhaps the wolf isn't as endangered in Sweden as it is in Norway. We have approx 20-25 wolves here that are shared with Sweden, in the sense that they come and go as they please across the border, but even so.. In Norway the wolf is endangered and it's not allowed to shoot it, although the farmers pretty much always are allowed to when they apply for it <.<
ANYWAY. So, Sweden has decided to shoot 27 wolves before February (16 was killed before the first day of the hunt was over), there's 12 000 hunters going for 27 wolves. This spells disaster.
Not only are they more than likely to end up killing way more wolves than the quota, but several of the wolves that were shot hadn't been confirmed dead!
The whole point of this madness?
They want to keep the population down, freferrably at 210 individuals, to prevent inbreeding.

... what.
The last time I checked, if you took away several individuals, there was a bigger chance of inbreeding. They can't possibly know which wolves are related to each other, considering how the males end up wandering far from the pack once they reach a certain age.

And then yesterday, this surfaced: An entire pack of wolves escaped from a Swedish Zoo.
They shot them all to death.
WTF?
If they managed to get close enough to them to shoot them, what about just tranquilizing them and putting them back in the pen?
These are endangered animals in our part of the world, they are kept captive for the purpose of protecting the species. But sure, let's kill them.

Seriously, this world is not right. Argh.

...it's not a good thing to start with a rant post this early in the morning. But I had to get it out. I've been brewing on it all week <.

I had this idea of journalling yesterday, about something but I didn't bother, and now I've forgotten. Lately nothing much has been going on. We've been sitting around watching QAF, Buffy and various movies. I read Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, and should get my ass in gear to do the review-post for Japanda (even though the site is down >_>)...

Yesterday, Honeycakes and I rented Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen, and watched both movies in one night. I love Transformers. But I didnt't really like the second one. I mean.. The old robot, and Bumblebee and the twins... they are hilarious and makes the movie worth watching, but I found there to be little storyline in it, and there were WAY too many slutty women.
I mean, WHY is it necessary in Hollywood, that if there is supposed to be a girl in the movie, and especially if she's a 'tomboy', she can't be dressed in overalls, with grease on her face instead of make-up, OH NO, she has to be a slut with ten tons of makeup. Jeez >_< The first part of the movie, we spent bitching about this stuff.
But allover it wasn't bad. I enjoyed it. I felt so bad for Bumblebee when he wasn't allowed to go to college XD


...and my brain kept shipping Prime/Bee again x'3
