2nd Sunday of Advent~

Man, as expeted, today brought FAIL with it. We stayed up until three am reading about Fucktarded Weaselboy on Housemate Horror, and so overslept. I was awoken to "When is Mare coming over?"
"Noon...."
"It's eleven twenty."
*insert swearwords here*

Fortunately, she had to work first and her bus was late, so I got some time to clean the place up before she arrived. Honeycakes had family stuff, so my brilliant gathering of the whole gang failed and we were just two... Though it was amusing.
With PLatinum Boxes and intense fangirling over Gackt and You and alice nine and things. There was also much pointlessness, like the Wii-convo and other odd things that I can't recall.
Things were rounded off by Sugizo's wailing, while we discussed SNOW cosplay in May, and then she had to leave. Honeycakes came back and we enjoyed JU-ON2, and yummies, then went back to reading about Fucktard. And I'm totally going to forget all about my doctor's appointment in the morning >_

Soyeah, today, we made gingerbread-stuffs with my family. Or well, sis, Honeycakes and I did the baking itself, mom watched, took pics and had made the dough beforehand. :3 As always.
There was christmas songs on the iPod, an annoyed-looking dad in the doorway and lots of stupid convo around the table. Sis left the camera on record most of the time, which was sort of lulzy XD
As always, the gingerbread-llama was prepared. But this year, we made gingerbread J-Rockers! 8D
They'll be posted on here once we decorate them. 8D
Sis also made a model of me x'3 and called me a cow.
It was lulzy, and there was flour EVERYWHERE 8D I inhaled it. Ick.

Aside from the baking and good-natured arguments, today has been a day of cleaning and fangirling.
We watched Naruto, and the Naruto Jump Festa thing that was released. And then the Kuroshitsuji OVA. Extatic screaming on my behalf followed.

Dear Santa... Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! Last week I stole wannimal's purse (-30 points). In January I got in line at the supermarket at the same time as someone else and I didn't yield (-8 points). Last Tuesday I put money in puremorning2468's expired parking meter (14 points). Last Sunday I put gum in gaaralover85's hair (-12 points). In October I set adriandx's puppy on fire (-66 points). Overall, I've been naughty (-102 points). For Christmas I deserve a moldy sandwich! Today, eco- and animalfriendly mail!!

This post is totally late, but I've been talking to people all day and Gran was here and then we were invaded by sis and her friend @__@
Gah. Went out twice today; once to the library, and ending up being smiled at and talked to by sweet elderly people who love my coat x3 And then again later with Honeycakes for brow-waxing and picking up mail. The rest of the evening has been spent like the previous three days, along with Rock-a-doodle and Fuglekrigen, two of my absolute favorite movies from my childhood. Gah~ *w*

Anyway, I've been talking alot about how I'm against animal testing ever since I was I dunno...like nine? So now I've finally taken a big step to do something about it; I've been trying my best before too to avoid things that were animal-tested, but I never knew HOW MUCH stuff they test and that pretty much everything you buy at the stores are in some way or other tested, or containing things tested on animals. So, I went over to CaringConsumer and studied their list of companies who test on animals. I also checked up a similar, Norwegian site, and found that virtually all the products I use every day; Got2b (Schwartskopf), Garnier, OMO, Jif, Ajax, Rimi-products, Xtra-products, Always, Libresse, O.B, Solidox, Veet, Palmolive and so on...they ALL test on animals. And well, I can't live with myself if I'm talking the talk without chaning my lifestyle, so from now on, nothing animal tested comes into this house, unless it's strictly prescribed medicine.
From now on, I am buying all my cleaning-stuff and detergents from ECOVER. Ecover's products are more expensive than ordinary cleaning-products, but they are 100% eco-friendly and absolutely not tested on animals. I'll buy my hair-removal stuff from ANDREA. And I'm using hygiene products from Natrucare. I still need to find a brand of deodorant and toothpaste (if I find out the one I use now is tested on animals) that is safe for me to use. But I feel SO much better.
Yes, it's expensive.
Yes, I have to order everything online since we have no stores that sell these things nearby.
It's a bit of a hassle, and I might encounter some troubles here and there when it comes to certain products. But I know that I feel MUCH better about myself. I'm finally standing for the words I speak and making a real statement.
It's a bit of a hassle to find products that replace the ones you usually use, yes, but if you put your mind to it (you can accomplish anything - Gackt)it's not all that hard to find.
And it's worth it: a clean conscience, a better eniviroment, less animal suffering and if we all chip in, maybe even the end of all animal testing in the future.
From March on, a law's passed that says that products made within the EU are not to be tested on animals. YAY.
SO people, really, consider this option. It's not much, but it can make a world of difference. ^-^

And with that, I'm going to bed. Honeycakes already left me on the couch alone >_< But I sort of lost myself in one of my Gackt-sprees... hehe~ ^^;; I want PBX NOOOWWWW TTwTT

Christmas-shopping with hawkeye_no! ^w^


Guuh~ it was so much fun xD We went out at around 11.30 this morning, and chatted our way up to City syd, although I do fear I ranted a bit too much >_< But we went to Xtra leker, a billion stores at City Syd, Jernia and Rema, and now I'm left with only half of my Grandmother's present, and something for Vale and Suci.. :D I also mailed the first batch of Christmascards. The other batch are being sent along with presents, and need to be wrapped and stuff first. Gah.
There was much lulz to be had; hillbilly songs and a chat with the giftcard-guy about our mutual hatred for Lånekassen xD We spent over an hour walking around in that mall and I didn't freak out once. I'm proud. It was just fun and cozy, and I've missed hanging out with Joachim (and the others as well) just walking around like that, like in the olden days~ n_n

Back home, Honeycakes arrived only minutes after me, and we spent a while inside with mom and sis, before we went downstairs, did some dishes and had Thai curry for dinner while watching the Christmas shows. Then Gran come down, to teach Honeycakes some knitting, whil we watched Pettson och Findus x3

Today has been pretty good, with that one exception; today, at 14:02, Regine Stokke passed away. For fifteen months, she's been fighting this horrible disease, and though it was clear that she wouldn't last much longer unless there was a miracle of sorts, it's still unbelievable that someone only 18 years old has to die of this thing. I didn't know Regine, but in a way, all of us who were following her blog, hoping for her to get well, knew her. She was strong and she was honest. She seemed like such a lovely person. I hope she's found peace now. She deserves it.

Well then. Tomorrow I should probably start reading the script, but we'll see. I'm tired and there's going to be so much to do from here on @_@

Today, the pic is a candle, for Regine.

In Norway, most blogs are superficial and idiotic. But not this one. Regine is 18 years old and suffers from a rare form of leukemia. Things were looking up for a while, and then they got alot worse. The way things are now, she won't live to see Christmas. It's bloody unfair.
So today, Honeycakes and I have kept a candle lit for her.

Other than that, I finished the editing. Now I just have to read the script in Word to look for inconsistencies and fix them if there are any, and then new proofs and RELEASE @_@
Hopefully it won't take too long. But tomorrow I probably won't get much done, as I'm going Christmasshopping with Joachim and then to the library and maybe postoffice. I hope I'm up for it though, as I've been feeling terrible all day. >_<

And now I realize that I forgot all about World AIDS day yesterday >_< So no fic, and no 'Maaya says' post over on the JS blog. Frack.
I was too busy killing myself over the whole wordcount things >_<

Today's been unproductive otherwise. I felt like crap this morning but it went away before I went to see my psychologist (thankfully), then mom and I bought my christmas tree~ And the rest of the day was full of editing and watching Christmas stuff on tv. Gran was down for a few hours, rambling away with us, and now it's bedtime.

This year like the last, I'm doing the "one pic pr day of the countdown meme". Yay! :D



December 1st has in all senses been perfect this year: We woke up to a layer of fresh, new snow. The santahat is on, and doesn't come off until midnight on New Year's eve..
It wasn't freezing outside, and I enjoyed my walk in the new coat, which is warm as badjeezus btw. So I went to the library, to Nille and got some decorating stuff and this light-thingy. Then I popped by notabene to buy Christmas cards and look for a book for my Grandpa. What did I find? Lo and behold! The book with people from Trondheim! I thought it sounded familiar, so I picked it up and opened a random page; looking straight at a photo of US. The cosplayers XD It was awesome.
I want that book~
Then I went shopping and came back home for the ungodly task that is editing, accompanied by Kra on the radio, and eating gingerbread. AND OMFGG did I have a heartattack when Keiyuu says that he's been to a GACKT LIVE, and he and Yasuno proceeds to talk about how AWESOME Gackt is!? *___* Guuh~ *w*

I spoke to Suvi for the first time in years. It was niiice~ I've missed you girl ♥
Then Honeycakes came home, we went with mom to the postoffice, picked up a few packages, and then went back home for "Julekalendere" on TV, and dinner. As well as the years FIRST CHRISTMASSODA! *__*
And a visit from my brother! :D
We sat around chatting and 'bullying' each other, played some silent hill and just joked around. Then it was 'Dance your ass off' time on TV, and Gran came down to watch Pettson och Findus, as is tradition.
Now we're about to go off to bed.

Then on Sunday evening/afternoon, we went to Heimdal square to watch the lighting of the big chrstimastree (which is actually almost big this year). Of course they lit it two minutes too early while we were still up the street, so we missed it, and since the square was so crowded, we didn't see the stage with the entertainment, so we went to Riwa, got Home Alone and went back home for Chinese food.
Then we were idiots who lay awake talking about random stuff and Digimon until four am >_<

And today was well... interesting.. XD
